iROZHLAS on Helpforfans.cz

iROZHLAS · June 12, 2026

Czech public-radio news site iROZHLAS reported on Helpforfans.cz, a project that gives Czech fans practical safety information for the trip to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. It was developed with input from SIHASO founder Paul Haertel – a former FBI deputy director who led its Critical Incident Response Group.

“I've worked in security for decades, and I know every location is specific in its own way. That's what Helpforfans.cz is built on. Every fan gets information, advice, contacts and details that help them enjoy each match without unnecessary trouble.” Paul Haertel · SIHASO founder

For the Czech team's first match in Guadalajara, Mexico, Haertel helped prepare a safety guide tailored to the location. It flags the most common risks at major sporting events – theft, fake tickets and unofficial taxis – and covers safe transport, moving in a group, protecting your documents and avoiding scams.

The guide is free at helpforfans.cz throughout the Czech team's run at the World Cup.
